  13. OK, I'm trying to Install the System 7.0.1 disks.

  15. I copied them to the Mac partition I set up on my Zip disk.

  17. When I run Binhex to unBinhex them,and select the "Upload->Application" 
  18. choice, I get a end of file error or something like that. It won't do it. 
  19. If I select the opposite "Application -> Upload" choice, it does it. It 
  20. makes a .Hqx file of the already .hqx file.

  22. A friend suggested that the Resource fork wasn't being read.

  24. I got the System disks by ftp using Amosaic on my Amiga. I dl'd them my 
  25. Amiga. They were in .hqx format. My friend suggested using an Amiga 
  26. Binhex program to unbinhex them and THEN copy them to my Mac partition. 
  27. Then I should be able to read the Resouce file in order to unBinhex them 
  28. on the Mac side. And continue the Install.

  30. BTW,I am using the SSBootfile.

  32. Another thing: I seem to be dreadfully low on Ram when I'm trying to 
  33. Insatll this. I heve 2Chip/8Fast Ram and thought this would be adequate to 
  34. run SS and Photoshop. I selected 'allocate Macrom first' and I also had 
  35. checked off 'use any ram' and the other choice also ( I can't remember 
  36. what it as...)

  38. I also have the AmigaAGA-EVD 2.0 as my videodriver.

  40. The refresh/redraw is slow unless I use 2 colors.

  42. Why is my memory being eaten up so much and why is the refresh slow. I 
  43. thought the EVD driver was suppose to be better... Am I expecting too much??
